Zombie Flesh Eaters 2 1988
I don't know how that maniac Fulci did it, but he somehow crafted a cozy zombie movie. This is a rotting apocalypse that you kinda wanna hang out in. The sets are funky, the textures are crunchy – and for god's sake, there's a zombie DJ taunting survivors over the airwaves.
Also, one of the actors portraying a brainless underwater zombie was actually the dude who, in real life, discovered the phenomenon of sleeping sharks, which permanently altered the world of marine biology. There's something beautiful in that.

Gladiator 2000
This genuinely feels like the last 20th century epic ever made. Highly quotable, viscerally dangerous stunts, real fuckin' animals and an ending that actually ends.
I sure hope they never fuck up this flick's legacy by making a sequel where someone literally jumps a shark.Translated from by
