Spirited Away 2001
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Got to see this in the theater for the first time since I watched it on my VHS player. This was one of my favorite childhood movies, and spawned a lot of my love and fascination for animation and Japanese culture. I always find it interesting revisiting media you digest as a child. It fascinates me that we're in a culture where films like this can have a lasting influence and effect on a developing mind- as opposed to the…

Cast Away 2000
Just an absolute classic. Haven't watched it in years, but there were so many details I noticed on the rewatch that makes it a classic. A big part of that is Tom Hanks and his terrific acting. Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood 2019
Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood is a cinematic masterwork. It all starts with an airtight plot, in which there's little to nothing to point out in terms of logical inconsistencies. Because of this, the other aspects of the movies can be enjoyed without a hitch. The dialogue in this film is clever, believable, funny and has a terrific flow to it- brought to life by terrific performances across the board. Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt's characters are a joy…
