I was trying so hard not to cry during my photography class we watched this in. Visually gorgeous, beautiful settings, gradual pacing that pays off, and a fantastic ending. Was oddly attracted to Adam Scott in this, deserves 5 stars

A Quiet Place: Day One 2024
The right amount of tense and scary for someone who is a pussy like me. They made a prequel correctly, and showed the origin of the monsters in a way that worked with the world building. New York as a setting was a very interesting choice in contrast to the first film, but in a great way! Would recommend seeing the first movie before this so it feels like the stakes are higher. Only unrealistic part was the cat being quiet the whole time. Oh I was also bawling my eyes out in the last thirty minutes, the writing was so good
