  Recency bias might be in play here. I’m also a giant Oppenheimer nerd before this movie came out.

  All I can say is this puts to rest much of our previous criticisms about Nolan. His lack of control over character, overuse of score/sound mixing, and his previous struggles with dialogue. All not present in this film.

  I’ll be one of the first to say it I think it’s his best picture and without a doubt we will all look back and think of Oppenheimer as a generation defining movie by one of our potential final film generational talents

  The Talented Mr. Ripley 1999

  Love this movie. Damon,Paltrow,Law all under 30 providing us with some of the best work of their careers. The true scene stealers of the film however are easily Blanchett and Seymour-Hoffman who are in the movie for few scenes but, just jump out at you. Mr.Ripley does loose steam in the third act but, I still think it’s really special
