  Suffers from a kind of "Red Dawn Problem": war movies usually derive justification from being (ostensibly) based on something that really happened. Since this is not based on something that really happened but also doesn't find some other reason for existing, it ends up feeling more like an exploitation film. It isn't particularly bad, but doesn't have a perspective, either.
