  I cannot get over Terrence Malick. How does he craft these fictions, these realities? How does he show us what we already know, but cannot see or hear or feel? The way the entire world can be made through the smallest movement of hands, or the most insignificant glance. How the dialogue that moves the story along fastest is uttered in a language I cannot understand - caught in an indistinguishable dance with the soundtrack - but speaks oceans more…

  Saving Private Ryan meets Silent Hill meets Inglorious Basterds meets Shawn of the Dead.

  This film was fucking wild. Never have so many grimaces turned into laughter and back again in the course of a film. It's so comically gruesome, almost to the point of delerium, yet somehow manages to own its ridiculousness in a way that doesn't make it trashy - just insane.

  I can give no recommendation, no proper review, no critique. My head, in the most literal of ways, has been blown off. Decide for yourself.
