Good film. It’s a shame the Hays code censored the plot so heavily.
It would have been a great film for Billy Wilder to have revisited post censorship.

Nosferatu 2024
Lovely cinematography added to the fact that there was some wonderful set design.
Lily Rose Depp gave a standout performance, followed by Willem Dafoe.
I have seen people complaining about the design of Count Orlok. However, I personally don’t see the problem. Granted it is not as distinctive or tue to the classic (almost mythic) original depiction but I don't think it needed to be.
Eggars is clearly a master of his craft with a now solid CV of gothic adjacent ambiance.
