the one star is for the cinematography, which was unfortunately undeniably spectacular. everything else was disgusting. SO obviously written by a man, which would be fine except its supposed to be a movie about a woman's liberation. also the manipulation of essentially a young child is romanticized and sexualized to such an extent its creepy. emma stone what happened 😭😭😭
