I don’t think Ranveer managed to nail that playful seductive personality that Deepika was able to flawlessly execute, but they’re both still super cute together. The plot was fine… though I felt compelled to skip some scenes out of boredom.
I liked the love story but I was lowkey waiting for Jodhaa to dance for Jalaluddin but it never came 😔
It was OK though nothing too exciting but they were cute
The director truly exercised his creative freedom… the girl breaking the boar’s head with her butt and the montage in the forest… the ex-boyfriends acting tsun tsun… the snowball fight with everyone… wow I loved everything. Even though sometimes the secondhand embarrassment was too much to bear. 10/10 recommend for sure. I was going to watch Whiplash after this because I saw some comments comparing the two, but after starting with this masterpiece, I’ll have to watch Whiplash another day LOL
Didn’t like it for multiple reasons.
- Felt like this film glorified the event
- Christopher Nolan doesn’t write women well anyway
- He really had to drop that one quote from the Hindu deity in one of the sex scenes? Not the iconic moment he thought it was
- I have no trouble following non-linear plots but I didn’t enjoy this one
- And lastly, there were so many well-known faces that I got distracted. I mean… Josh Peck?…
