  Death was... eternal loneliness.
  
  I'm at a loss for words against Kurosawa's masterpiece,Pulse(2001), how it predicted the wrongs of our society today is beyond me. Thinking that when it was released in early 2000's at the time the internet was just started to gain popularity among people. Kurosawa painted a pretty grim picture of those days. It also particularly touched upon a certain mood from the beginning which was the loneliness, a feeling we can never escape, no matter how connected we get.
