The Thing 1982
This is a classic for a reason. Masterful display of building tension and anticipation using paranoia. Throughout the whole movie I found myself accusing one character to be the thing only to change my opinion 5 minutes later.
This movie also has some of the best practical effect I've ever seen in a movie. The iconic scene with Norris was equally disgusting and hilarious.
Thoroughly enjoyed how this movie was lit. The blue lighting used throughout the base contrasted by the red light from the flares creates a beautiful atmosphere.
