  I couldn't stop the wind from blowing and the air from being as clear as crystal. And I couldn't hide the mountains

  Black Narcissus is a fantastic story that'll always have a place in my heart. This film was beautiful and manic, the wind truly took a character on its own. Isolation of what makes one human to serve can drive anyone insane, especially when temptation lays right in front of you. It's also a great story about British colonization of India and the power of Christianity over the population.

  I wish they look a frozen 2 approach, focus on depth, exploring the rich culture, and ditch the dumb. It's visually beautiful but it's shallow with the new characters. Should've been the tv show idea so that everything could shine and have time to shine. The steaks didn't feel high. Give us a more profound aloness. Also the sister plot needed to be developed more. To many idea goin on.

  Could have chopped Maui.
