  This is truly good comfort television. Slice of life meets my love for history and geography. Really heartwarming. The foolish characters who are human and flawed create unbelievably good storytelling. Always loved the TR7! But now I like aztec yellow 💛

  It looked great! The sets were perfect with the old cathode ray screens and tactile switches/buttons. The alien types on display were truly terrifying and there was a good sense of being left on edge during the whole movie. A few nice callbacks and links into the alien timeline. However, upon closer analysis the movie has some odd plot points, with a meandering story with not much substance. So it's not amazing, but still a decent watch!

  I feel like Eggers was trying to hard. Yes it's visually technical and the sets and costumes are great, but it's such a boring long thing. The only enjoyable moment was the final scene with nosferatu surrounded by flowers and ovbs wilem defoe, naturally. So pretty mid unfortunately.
