Most of the things I saw there were overly commercialized and touristy. These locations that were supposed to be spirituality significant, left me instead feeling empty.

There were a handful of exceptions to this, chief among them being Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem.

I can not help but see and feel so much of what made that museum impactful for me within this film. Spielberg…

"Do you realize that because of you this city is being overrun by baboons?"

"Well, isn't that the fault of the voters?"

A week before our senior year of high school, one of the guys in our friend group shot himself in the head.

I got the call about it that morning, and spent the rest of the day going around town, telling the rest of the group. That night the guys all gathered at my house, crammed into my small high school bedroom. None of us knew how…

Wow. I wasn't sure I would enjoy this, let alone find it to be a masterpiece of which I would not change a single detail of.

One of PTA's most admirable traits ad a director is how he sets the tone of a film. I find that whatever way he chooses to open a picture to be so effective in hooking the audience, as well as letting them know what to expect (although he then goes on to subvert thise…
