The movie exceeded my expectations. The characters are just like the books and the plot is full of twists. But why did they add Catherine? In all of Agatha Christie books, Poirot decides to resolve crimes in order to keep his mind busy, that's basically the only reason. Poirot do care about the criminal, but he cares more to be recognized as the best detective in the world. That's just the way he is.
