the first like 40 minutes are kinda boring but this movie is so unique i love it.
I am very impressed with the directors ability to present the story in a way that makes you “root” and “feel bad” for the villain. oliver is a perfect representation of a psychopathic manipulator, and it’s crazy to think that some people are actually just like that.

Requiem for a Dream 2000
can’t even remember all the plot but this movie is so good. i will definitely remember it for a long time, especially the music score and the cinematography at the beginning when we see little clips of close ups with the sounds omg that was *chefs kiss*.
completely fucked up and depressing movie, wouldn’t recommend watching it if you’re not in the right state of mind. very interesting from a psychological perspective, and i loved the storyline of the mom and her weight loss pills.

The Truman Show 1998
absolutely phenomenal movie. love the plot, the acting, etc. also love the fact that it’s mad based on an omniscient pov rather than truman’s pov.
like i love watching the camera crew and the behind the scenes stuff. honestly this movie is very unsettling if you think about it. they could’ve focused even more on Truman’s paranoia as he starts realizing and noticing weird things happening.
overall awesome movie, i’ve watched it multiple times and probably will watch it again.

good. definitely not a movie i’m gonna watch multiple times tho, the plot is exiting and i liked the end. not enough playful / sexy scenes.
based on the trailer i watched i thought it was gonna be much more of a lustful and light hearted movie but it was actually a pretty sad drama.
jokes weren’t that funny, and i sometimes had trouble understanding the story. not impactful, i will probably forget this movie over time.
