A friend of mine discovered this movie five years ago and recommended it to us, so we finally watched it and yeah I really loved it.
Taking inspiration from The War of the Worlds broadcast, the entire film is framed as a series of breaking news reports covering this global meteor event that has taken the world by storm. The whole film plays it really straight which makes it feel authentic as your engrossed into the conspiracies and wondering what…

I really like the vibe Joe Johnston brings (loved it in The First Avenger) and here it's combined with a comic pulpy adventure set before World War II and it's a perfect background for this movie. I mean you've got gangsters, the FBI, Hollywood, World War II conspiracies, a classic hero with a dope retro style getup and jetpack. It’s actually a lot more wholesome than I expected for a mafia movie.
Kind of cool seeing Robert De Niro in a non gangster role and anti-racism messaging.
Kind of weird AMC+ censored the f bombs but not the racial slurs.
It was a pretty good tale of a kid and the two male role models in his life trying to help him out.

IT'S A LOONEY TUNES MOVIE THAT'S FULLY 2D ANIMATED, IN THEATERS, WITH REAL VOICE ACTORS, THAT WB TRIED TO SHOVE AWAY CAUSE THEY'RE EVIL, THAT IS A LAUGH OUT LOUD, HILARIOUS, BEAUTIFULLY ANIMATED, PASSIONATE, EMOTIONAL, LOONEY EXPERIENCE. GO SUPPORT THIS!!!!!!!
I think that summarized all the main points but yeah my family and I adored this. The Looney Tunes have sadly not been as prevalent (because of WB's incompetence) but they're amazing and their cartoons have always been hilarious. I…
