  Not sure I liked this as much as the first one. It was long, and meandered a bit. Some fab visual effects, which add to the sense of unease and the dreamlike quality as you get further into Skye's madness. The pointless part with Morris left me frustrated as it seemed more a tool for the viewer than a genuine part of her psychosis.

  Half decent apocalypse survival movie. With a predictable story arc, but some really beautiful environmental vistas, a unique take on the predator trope and for sure a lot of yeah right as if moments but that's fine in this context.

  Stunning! Small town, big muscles. Dazzling new girl in town, sweeps depressed hopeless low life off her feet and makes her feel seen. Fresh start beckons but old wounds won't heal and drugs inevitably ruin everything... Not the most original of plot outlines but a great take on the destructive love story. Loved the era styling and Stewart's acting was utterly convincing. Ed Harris taking the skullet to a shudderingly creepy extreme.
