  I may loose all respect, but I don't think that this movie is the death of cinema like the majority of people on this app believes. Like its fine, with some elements that are good? I know we would all rather have the Denis Villeneuve, high art, adaptation of this material, but for what it is, its fun, and competently made. I'd watch it again despite its flaws.

  Started out rough, but won me over by the end. The voice over didn't annoy me like it did others, but I do wish that it had funnier stuff to say instead of mainly filler. Lots of good action. A few good bits. Some fun scenes. But sadly, a lot holding down the movie as a whole.

  I saw this at a free Amazon Prime event with the instructions to enjoy myself (check) and spread the word on social media. I now use my mighty influencer status (not to brag, but 23 followers on Letterboxd) to say that you should give this movie a chance.

  James Gunn and company,

  I beg you to please kill off this franchise. Resist the urge to try to salvage some aspects of it, let it go and start afresh.
