finding out that this movie was not only announced but released and available to rent on Vimeo derailed my entire evening. dropped everything. nothing else matters.
a little conflicted on the idea of this movie existing at all- any sensationalizing of a true crime feels a bit gross, especially so soon after the event. but Fosse’s artistry here is undeniable, and Eric Robert’s’ performance as the physical embodiment of evil is hard to look away from.
