Excuse me for jumping on the bandwagon but wow. I laughed, I cried. the balance of humour history and language revitalisation themes struck such a chord. Love the on screen scribbles and the K Hole scene that descends into claymation was very ’realistic’.
As far as fictionalised biopics go (The Favourite , Shakespeare in Love? lol) this movie is in a league of its own, to speak of another great fictionalised biopic. So smart and funny. I’d go again. Inspired me to learn Irish on Duolingo.Translated from by -
