A refreshing take on the teen romance genre. It has its hiccups but overall is a good pallette cleanser to the usual tropes and cliches.

I honestly don't know where to start and neither did the movie. It is a jumble of dance numbers, incest, and gore that can easily be toted to a modern audience and they will call it art. It simply just tries too hard and turns a fairly short movie into a confusing slog that gave me a sigh of relief when I finally laid my eyes back on the Amazon prime screen. The End of the Tour 2015
One of the first films that has emotionally drawn me in in a very long time and gotten me to look into something I hadn't known anything about. A very interesting and human character study where a primarily comedic actor plays an extremely troubled and down-to-earth writer in a fictionalized account of his final tour. Something about this film was just so real and has created an extreme craving in me to read the works of the late David Foster Wallace to truly dive into his beautiful mind that the world no longer has access to.
