Anora is a tragic yet surprisingly fun and comedic watch. It seamlessly blends genres, taking the audience on an emotional rollercoaster that mirrors Anora’s own journey, from a fairytale, like beginning to heartbreaking betrayal and devastation. The film also offers sharp commentary on capitalism and the treatment of sex workers, adding depth to its story. On top of that, the editing and cinematography are absolutely stunning, perfectly capturing the raw, immersive vibe that’s become a Sean Baker signature. And let’s be real, Mikey Madison absolutely deserved Best Actress.

AVP: Alien vs. Predator 2004
The beginning was extremely slow, but it got good eventually. I didn’t love it but it wasn’t a complete waste of time, I also liked that they actually tried to connect this to the other movies. But I also think it was confusing at times and the characters were useless.

Leave the World Behind 2023
In "Leave the World Behind", while some may find fault with the film, I found its realistic portrayal to be its greatest strength. The characters' interactions felt authentic and grounded, capturing how ordinary people might react when thrust into extraordinary circumstances. The cinematography adds to the immersive experience, drawing viewers into the world of the film. Additionally, the cast delivers standout performances, further enhancing the film's realism. Despite differing opinions, "Leave the World Behind" offers a compelling and thought-provoking narrative that resonates long after the credits roll.

Aliens 1986
Tbh I think I liked this one more than the first. The first did a great job of setting up the world and ripley as a character but this one continues that and I love that we see more of the aliens. As well I really like newt & hicks and I’m excited to see her take over the series!
