  I am very stricken by how much of The Thin Red Line is spent making the very concept and act of military combat look very foolish or at least misguided and out of place not because of violence’s relation between people, not to suggest that the film does not operate in this way also, and other people but because of violence’s relationship with people and their environment. The army that marches through the unexpectedly initially empty woods appear so small…

  There is still time

  Transcendently beautiful. Easily in running for the greatest of the decade. A horrifying encapsulation of dysphoria and a staggering portrayal of representation, hope, and of course self-actualiziation. Naunced in a way I don't really have the words to describe right now, just unbelievable, a must watch. Thank God I'm on HRT, I love my life.
