  Seem to be in a serious minority of people that liked this. Francis Ford Coppola is such a g that I reckon he’s allowed to do whatever he wants and a lot of the wacky things he goes for here actually worked (granted the hitler thing definitely didn’t). If you take this film really seriously you’re bound not to like it cause of the blunders that do exist. But if you take it for what it is it makes for a cracking viewing experience. 

  Also loved that the only aspect of Ceasar’s utopia mentioned was those floor escalators you find at stanstead airport
