  A thoroughly enjoyable dynamic of two polar opposites in personality and action. 
  The way empathy and emotion is explored through the tour of a traumatic shared history, really allows the characters and their feelings to become the centre of the story, understand each other and their shared futures.
  Such a fun balance of comedy 👍

  Not a film that can be watched out of the cinema.. and should only really be watched in a big one. The atmosphere and sound is too important when such a huge part of the film is ships taking off, landing, extreme weather conditions and people whispering to each other.

  A thoroughly enjoyable film with a sad and slightly unsatisfying ending in the way that leaves you wanting the film to go on longer, so you can know how the characters are getting along in the future...
  The film is slowly paced but every moment is worth paying attention to since every word spoken is perfectly chosen. 
  Stories with themes of poverty are bound to be sad, but I think shoplifters has incredibly well, showed a happy side in amongst the kindness, selfishness and hard of loneliness and poverty.
