I’m not even gonna lie i don’t know what the fuck happened in this movie but i’m all for it 💀. The movie is about identity and the way we present ourselves in our society. I’m not really sure what the stance of the movie was at the end as it seems everyone conformed and lived happily ever after but i don’t think it matters much. The movie is super unserious and jolly, as i said, i’m all for it.

Watched Omari Douglas & Russel Tovey version
The diverging timelines are a really great mechanic to explore the characters. Most of what we get to see of people in our life are consequences of circumstances we conflate with character traits. It’s also a really good device to take things out of context. Some scenes happen next to other scenes that imply things they wouldn’t imply in full context. I think this mechanic is pretty profound and connects really well with the conversation about the many world’s interpretation at the start.
Absolute cinema
REALLY FUNNY MOVIE. The entire concept is just inherently funny and i think the themes are somewhat well done with Scott actually going through some character growth. I don’t know if he’ll stop being a terrible person afterwards but he atleast owed up to his mistakes in a somewhat believable sense. This movie made me a vegan btw
