  Had some really scary moments and good performances that were bogged down by some tired "the trauma IS the horror" tropes that have gotten a little on the nose and stale for me. Cool visuals in the ending sequence.

  Was mostly bored to death during this. Didn't go weird enough. Arrakis should look like shit but other parts of the story should not look like shit, but everything in this film looked like shit. Lots of money spent for everything to look like shit.

  The best MCU entry since Thor Ragnarok, which isn't an accident because that's the last time an MCU director felt like they were in their bag. Like Taika Waititi on Thor, Sam Raimi breathes new life into not only the character of Doctor Strange but the MCU as a whole.

  Multiverse of Madness has real art direction, takes real chances, and has a real point of view. I don't doubt that the cracked doors Disney assuredly placed in the film…
