  i was willing to give this a chance bc i love musicals, but everyone forgot to mention that it’s also a COURT FILM, and a REALLY boring one for that matter 

  disappointing bc i thought the aesthetics, characters and specially the spaces in the previous film provided an interesting setting for a musical, but all of that was left behind for a boring cell and joaquin phoenix singing while sitting on a chair more times than it’s comfortable to watch…

  los primeros 20 minutos formaron un corto bellísimo, que proponía temas y reflexiones interesantes. religión, infancia, maternidad no deseada, ingenuidad, rebelión; todo desde una perspectiva femenina y una fotografía muy expresiva. 

  el resto de la película me decepcionó. se mantuvieron algunas temáticas y dinámicas, pero de manera mas lejana y perdida. eventualmente se alejó mucho de la propuesta fuertísima que planteó inicialmente, y pareciera que se olvidaron de los recursos expresivos con los que comenzaron a construir ese mundo.
