while it can get a bit repetitive in the middle of the first half and the movie is not very subtle, it does a good job at depicting the self-loathing and how destructive chasing to achieve the perfect beauty standards can be. also enjoyed the film's humour and body horror.
i felt the scene where elisabeth keeps changing her make up on personal level.
i also understand why some people might dislike this movie, perhaps because it hit too close to home.
