The Color of Pomegranates 1969
This movie is a 80 minute sequence of beautiful shots, with poetry that makes you think for a minute (or several hours). There was not a single shot that didn’t amaze me, all shots we’re interesting. Except for the shot they let chickens run around with one wing chopped of, not that it wasn’t a “good looking shot” just that it was cruel and unnecessary.
But! Just beautiful shots alone don’t make a good movie. Far from it. The poetry…Translated from by
