  Invisible 2: Chasing The Ghost Sound 2011

  You know (you probably don’t because I don’t think anyone reads my reviews) I’m a sucker for found footage! The fact that I could only find this in the lowest quality possible really just added to the overall vibes. My main complaint is that the subtitles were not correct, so I was a little lost story wise. However, that’s not the movies fault & I still managed to understand the overall story.

  DARREN CRISS?!?!

  
  Look, this movie doesn’t reinvent anything or offer some earth shattering revelations. That being said, I appreciate comedies where no one is punching down (which is a bit hard to come by in American comedies). I’m a huge fan of Ilana and always enjoy seeing her. Ilana’s comedic style is very much for me! Michelle is beautiful & brings genuine emotions to this movie. Overall, it’s just a silly, fun movie with a little bit of heart.

  This short (now available on Max) is the kind of storytelling that punches you right in the gut. So real, it almost feels voyeuristic. Life really be like that for many Latino immigrants.

  When he needed help, saw the cops, the cops saw him and then they just walked away and he didn’t even bother to go up to them for help? OOF. Too real. 

  Anyways, shout out to Guatemala! Fellow chapín!

  Ayo new birthday tradition just dropped. 

  The tension was real. The cinematography was divine. I loved how they used different aspect ratios to enhance what was happening in the story. I can’t say much else without spoiling it. 

  I wish it would have leaned more into the one thing than the other and that’s why I can’t give it a full 5 stars.
