Hypnotischer, im positiven Sinne verwirrender und absolut faszinierender Film mit sehr viel Tiefe und vielen Interpretationsmöglichkeiten. Ein sehr spezielles Seherlebnis, weil man einerseits durch die immersive Inszenierung sowie das durch die Bank weg starke Acting (Naomi Watts liefert hier unfassbar gut ab) gefesselt wird. Und andererseits weil man auch storytechnisch hooked bleibt, da David Lynch meisterhaft mehrere Genres mischt und vor allem den Mystery Part brillant beherrscht.
