I guess this movie was an adaptation of another movie that was an adaptation of a book. Rather aimless, with no traditional plot line and a killer sound track, this is a simple, enjoyable film. Definitely an art film that's not for everyone. I love John Turturro and felt like this was a natural extension for the character.

This is a beautiful movie. I haven't read other reviews about it and I won't. I'm a recovering addict so there's a major part of me that feels this film with every inch of my soul. I can relate to it. That's what makes it beautiful.

Deadpan, show paced, awkward comedy with surrealism thrown in every now and again. The plot is simple. It all felt very normal to me, in the best way! Like I could see myself in high school being this weird, awkward, and avoidant!
