Not a review, just some quick thoughts:

    * Didn't expect to randomly hear a gentle cover of Underworld's Born Slippy Nuxx early on in the film. Bit odd and jarring as it's extremely difficult for me to divorce that track from Trainspotting, and the cover plays during a peaceful sleepover scene. Chuckled a bit.

Note to self: The Constructing the World and Inside the Xenomorph Showdown featurettes included in the bonus features of the 4K set are worthwhile; however, the rest of the special features are mostly just marketing. Nothing unique or insightful regarding discarded lore in the deleted scenes. The interview between Fede and Ridley preceding the theatrical release is also included in the bonus features.

    Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga

Extremely disappointing after rewatching Fury Road. Terrible acting from Hemsworth, MCU-like humor and trash dialogue, poor delivery of dialogue, and consistently horrible special effects, especially compared to the work done in Fury Road nine years earlier. The wardrobe, makeup, and vehicle designs were also bland compared to the previous film. The CG was atrocious. There was nothing unique about any of the actors, and Furiosa as a character wasn't developed in any meaningful way. Anya Taylor Joy has nothing on…
