The concept of the film is pretty interesting and I believe there was an actual potential to set fire TO and WITH the plot.
What the hell happened then? The film didn’t keep up to its initial promises of landing as a battle for love, respect, passion, fame. It simply ended up in a tension-less tennis game, and not a match.

A magical diving into the crude nuances of the coming-of-age. Born in a squatted space in North Kent, Bailey is growing up gentle(not-so-gentle) parenting her parents, babysitting her younger siblings, free-styling her raging creativity through filming vlogs and taking (unfulfilling?) revenges… all of these understandably difficult circumstances, however, do not frustrate and affect Bailey’s personality as much as what she discovers when she meets her caring angel/Bird.
This movie is about teenagers’ stubbornness with the idolisation of independence and the difficulties of asking to care more. I thought the colour palette and cinematography played incredibly when rendering the magical realism that hides behind the story.
