As expected, Bong Joon-ho’s cinematography does not disappoint, and Robert’s performance is, as always, beyond question. However, there’s something about Mark Ruffalo’s character that feels like a blend of his portrayal of the Hulk and a hint of Trump. The concept of duplication, which had the potential for deeper exploration, feels somewhat underdeveloped, leaving much to be desired. Additionally, the character development of Mickey 17 takes an odd turn, making it feel somewhat inconsistent and abrupt.
