A good gorey action movie with really great stunt scenes. Jack Quaid plays the socially awkward so well I was wincing through some of the dialogue. Scenes were mixed with laugh out loud moments and incredibly gorey special effects. It kind of lost me in the third act because the final villain seemed invincible. I also wish the police had been a little faster, or that not so many people had to die, but what can you expect from an action movie.

A well paced sci-fi dystopia. There were many similarities in this to Bong Joon-Ho’s Snowpiercer: mainly the same sooty futuristic dystopia, and an unhinged female second-in command (Toni Collette in this movie, and Tilda Swinton in Snowpiercer).
