The Room Next Door 2024
Great premise, Tilda’s outfits crush, and they do the best they can acting-wise. This would have been a really good short film. But the writing was maybe the worst I’ve seen in a movie in a long time. It felt like ChatGPT. Pacing is poor (the first act goes on way too long and is bogged down by a plethora of unearned exposition) and by the time it begins to get interesting, we’re already towards the end.
