If The Goonies were to have a worthy sequel, it would be like It: Chapter 2. The perfect combination of adventure, friendship, life and death, and the sobering reality of the passage of time. Obviously, IT:2 throws in a fare amount of truly frightening (and often funny) horror, too, but the real point of the movie reaches far, far beyond the jump scares.
