Oldboy was an experience to remember.
Everything about the aesthetics of this film were chosen perfectly. Colour choices, set dressing, costuming, the choice of camera angle for the first fight scene. All brilliant.

The motifs of this film were so iconic, grounding and simple. The act of using black circles as a central motif has me overthinking just about every shot, beautifully simple for a film with to many complex and overwhelming details.
