  I like skins, i love call me by your name and i adore Patricia Highsmiths Ripley books.
  This film takes inspiration from all three, strips them down to their most basic ideas to then reduce them into a stew of vibes, sprinkled with some "shocking" bits so there is something to talk about.
  It never reaches the highs of it's inspirations (even Skins which did age somewhat poorly has more genuinely interesting ideas and moments).

  I disagree with people that say this films problem lies in it's editing style. The long uninterrupted sequences are quite enjoyable in theory. Where this film falls apart is the selection of it's protagonists (and the way in which they were interviewed).
  While I do agree that the people portrayed are important to the german electronic music scene, they are apparently not the kind of people that do well in this kind of unguided interview. Most of the interviews devolve…
