  Made a spontaneous decision to watch a movie with a friend of mine and turns out this was the closest to us time wise so we thought why not give it a try. LMAO HAD THE BEST TIME WATCHING IT. It was so unserious that the whole movie experience was enjoyable. I love when movies to take itself too seriously

  It was so nice to see a movie where the queer characters don’t get an unfortunate ending🥹. Wished there were less scenes with her annoying son and more scenes with Kanchan

  Sometimes, I feel like this movie wants to be two different movies entirely. One talks about Monk and his family while the other dwells on the commodification of POC lives by making everything a gimmick. Both are very compelling on their own, but together, they're both fighting for screen time here.
