Seven Samurai 1954
It took me a while to get around to it, but it was worth the wait. Akira Kurosawa's "Seven Samurai" is a masterclass in storytelling, along with character growth. Despite it's 3 and a half hour runtime, not a moment feels wasted, and not a line of diaglogue felt shoved in. The theme, also, is one of the most emotion inducing themes composed in cinema, that I feel holds its own with some of the best themes in cinema since. Amazing movie and is fully deserving of all the praise it gets.

The Lighthouse 2019
If you want an absolute mindfuck of a film, this is the one for you. I was uneasy and confused from the start, but I think that’s what Eggers was going for here. Absolutely insane film and I loved every moment of it. One of both Willem DaFoe’s and Robert Pattinson’s best roles
