Yes I did watch the Hand maiden because it was on the big picture. Do I think it deserves to be regarded as one of the 25 best movies of 2025? Yes.

Primal Fear 1996

Ive already given my thoughts - which are definitive! - on Primal Fear in my other entry. I just wanna add here that I think the title of the movie is poor, mainly because it's vague, abstract, hard to remember.
And one other thing: ed norton's character, what was his plan? To become an alter boy for 18 months, butcher a hypocritical clergyman, get caught, then spend 8 months in jail during a protracted ligitagion process after which he is proven unfit to stand trial due to insanity (multiple personalities disorder)? Because, why, he hates two-facedness? Roy???

jealous of my friends who are watching the major movie event Barbenheimer, I watched this major movie event from 1997, alone in my abysmal lair. it's the most spectacular and splendid disaster movie ever created, and also a little cheesy, maybe a little self indulgent, but I happily forgive it for all its faults, because I love it.
