  Dinner in America is such a shallow movie that does not really portray any of the characters correctly. The unnecessary slur use is annoying - it adds nothing to the plot. The only people that like this film are teenage girls who want to be different. The dialogue is probably the worst part of the movie, and the whole thing between those two teenage boys and patty is such an odd thing to add. Simon is a weird sex addict and a total poser. I really do not understand why this movie has its popularity.
