A wonderful southern drama. The characters Idgie and Ruth command the screen. The chemistry between Mary Louise Park and Mary Masterson is so intense it’s almost tangible, not to mention their clothes!!! Also kudos to having some fun with cannibalism. My favorite scene has to be when Idgie and Ruth went hopped a train and gave away food to a homeless encampment, you could see Ruth becoming enchanted with the wild life that Idgie led.

The Farewell 2019
