One star for the costumes, half for the eyepatched dog, half for the scene with butterflies coming out of the dress.
Everything else is nonsense.
Plus it was one of the longest movies I've ever seen, whit the most basic soundtrack I've ever heard.
A great movie about power, femininity, love and weakness, all filled with a bit of irony and satire.
It seemed to me almost like a theatral play, ranging from ridiculous to emotional dept, cruelty and pain.
The actresses are incredibly good (especially Olivia Coleman) and fit really well together, the screenplay is almost perfect, the costumes are really good and I also enjoyed most of the shots, with the various close ups.
A special mention goes to Horatio, the fastest duck in England.
I have so many questions about this movie.
But the most important is: what the fuck is Hanna Montana's father doing there??
Anyway I loved it. It also made me feel very uncomfortable and sometimes completely dumb.
I reccomend the experience.
(The old couple scared me to death and will be difficult to forget).
Minute 00:02. Adrien Brody is jumping on a moving train, in India, with big sunglasses and the Kinks in the background.
Me: I fucking love this movie
