  A British ‘Knives Out’ where no one means to be funny and the main character doesn’t know what fun means. I found it to be silly, but enjoyable. Definitely something that is good for a second watch through where you can pick up on the clues earlier.

  Fantastic movie, giant monsters fighting giant robots. All the background logic and decision making you only really notice after the first watch through makes it a real treasure. Obviously the Tokyo battle is the most memorable part, and for good reason, such a beautiful movie.

  Super timely movie about what it means to really love and care about a person. Timely in the sense that I am the same age as them, and they also act incredibly in character. Maybe the best happy romance. Obviously they had problems and they manifest themselves further in the next movies, but in this movie they really gave all of themselves to each other. Also there’s like real life drama built around the movie which makes it feel even more real.
