This film has several critical flaws that made for a very frustrating experience.
The most important flaw is that it failed to evoke any emotional response from me. I just did not care what was happening to the characters and the world in this film. It‘s a 1980s made-for-TV movie and that certainly shows in the editing and in the way the script is structured. It all feels very dated. The performances from the actors are good though, especially Emily Perkins in the courtroom. Personally, out of nostalgia I liked seeing John Shea whom I knew from my childhood as Lex Luthor in “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman”.
